Survivors Guide to Earth
Remembering Humanity

Overview
We live in a time of record distrust and xenophobia. Democracy and human rights in peril. Nuclear brinkmanship. A climate in collapse.
From money and economics, to leadership and politics, community and identity, religions and ideologies, to education, environmental harmony, and future-city planning – nearly every field of human understanding has been turned upside down.
One of the defining features of modernity is that our basic tools of civilization have been hijacked to such an extent that they function in nearly direct opposition to their purpose.

The Film
The film uses the metaphor of life as a game to remind humankind and its children of our true story.
That story weaves our greatest traditions into one golden thread, dispelling myths of east vs west, reclaiming shared purpose, and shared ownership over our natural and digital world.
We go all the way down the rabbit hole to the origins of our species, the mystery of consciousness, and the secret agreements between all the world’s great teachings.
When we get back home, we’ve experienced the overview effect — seeing and remembering human civilization as a whole, instead of us vs. them.
It’s a reminder that we already have everything we need for a thriving, advanced civilization.

The Campaign
The film and campaign are supported by the marketing team behind Gabor Mate’s Wisdom of Trauma — the second most downloaded film of all time.
The film will be exclusively available on the SGE platform, followed by a docuseries, a news media hub, and community development events creating an evergreen campaign to promote universal human values.
The business model is designed to be self-sustaining with zero paywall, providing universal access and shareability. Our accounting model is based on real human value driven by financial energy. For more context, see our position paper on money.
